 The management of Avroy Shlain Cosmetics decided to bring their 400 winners to Israel onc& again - three years previously they were in Tel Aviv, visiting Jerusalem and the northern part of Israel.

The group, divided into 2 groups of 200 persons back to back, arrived by direct EL AL flights from Johannesburg to Eilat Local Airport. After a light breakfast and visit to Kibbutz Eilot, the winners departed directly to the Arava Border where special arrangements had been made for speedy border crossing procedures, and continued to Petra. The highlights of the 2 night stay were the visit to the fascinating ancient city of Petra, and a "Nabatean Theme Party" at Taybet Zaman Village. The group stayed at the unusual Taybet Zaman Village.

 Upon return to Eilat, where the group stayed 6 nights at the Radisson Moriah Plaza, sampling the fun and sun, water sports, jeeps and a BBO yacht cruise. Many of the winners chose optional tours to Massada, and eternal Jerusalem -driving one way and flying back. Special arrangements for airport check-in and luggage trucks were also made.

Spectacular events included an Israeli style buffet with local musicians, a "Samba Carnival" at the Dolphin Reef and "Dine Around The World" theme farewell dinner with a band, the hotel's entertainment team followed by a DJ. A special plaque was awarded to Avroy Shlain by the Ministry of Tourism.

 This was the largest incentive group to come to Israel from Canada.

This company celebrated their 30th Anniversary in Israel, bringing all their top dealers in 2 jumbo jets chartered from EL AL. They were welcomed on the tarmac by musicians and flowers, before being whisked through passport control to their 15 waiting coaches, and transferred to Tel Aviv. All luggage was transferred to the Tel Aviv hotels by special luggage truck. The area near the hotels was decorated with company flags.

After 2 years of planning, events were included in sightseeing programmes, in line with the theme of the day: The Galilee with a picnic in Bat Ya'ar forest near Safed, sunset cocktail cruise on the Sea of Galilee and ended with a fisherman's dinner on the shore while being entertained by a local children's song and dance group, another day found the group travelling to the Dead Sea for a "swim" and mud-bath, followed by a visit to Massada descending on foot via the Roman ramp to their Bedouin Camp, where traditional food was served along with performances by a Debka dance group and belly dancers. Other highlights included Jerusalem - after being welcomed to the city by Mayor Ehud 01 inert in a special ceremony at City Hall, they visited the old and the new, a private Sound & Light Show at David's Citadel, a tree-planting ceremony dedicating the Global Forest in the Jerusalem Hills, and a visit to Yad Vashem.

 Special events were the name of the game, including a traditional Shabbat Friday night dinner complete with blessings and songs, a 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner-Dance at the new Teddy Hall at the International Convention Centre in Jerusalem, a spectacular Roman Feast at the ancient Roman Theatre of Caesarea with centurions, beggars and kings milling with the guests taking part in a feast fit only for a Caesar. The Farewell dinner was held en route to the airport in a marquee at Kibbutz Tzorah with a light dinner of local cheeses and folklore entertainment.

 The group stayed at Hilton and Sheraton hotels in Tel Aviv, and Laromme and Sheraton Plaza hotels in Jerusalem.

The group, originating from Madrid and Barcelona, arrived via Iberia direct flights to Ben Gurion Airport, where they were welcomed with musicians by the coaches, and transferred to Jerusalem. The programme took them to the Galilee, where they enjoyed a lunch-cruise while crossing the Sea of Galilee. In addition, they walked through the Old City of Jerusalem; floated on the Dead Sea and visited Masada; toured modern Tel Aviv and ancient Jaffa.

During this busy schedule, the customers found time to visit an associated plant in Tel Aviv and lunch with its directors, while the partners visited the Diamond Exchange! Events included dinner at the Roman theme restaurant Cardo Culinaria in Jerusalem, a Bedouin Feast in the Judean Desert, and a Gala Dinner-Dance as a farewell party. The group stayed 3 nights in each centre at the Sheraton Plaza Jerusalem and Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv.

Location: Dead Sea and Eilat, 5 nights

Group Profile: 150 customers and sales managers

The group arrived at Ben Gurion Airport from London Heathrow, and departed from Eilat Ovda direct to Heathrow again, using EL AL direct flights.

Upon arrival, the ladies received flowers while waiting for their luggage, and the group was transferred to the Dead Sea area. Video films where shown on board to

while away the 2 1/2 hour drive in the night. After enioying a morning relaxing on the hotel’s private beach and floating on the Dead Sea, the group visited Masada, where they braved a sudden sand storm, laughing all the way. They continued to Eilat.

The itinerary in Eilat included a lunch-cruise on the Red Sea, aboard 3 schooners, where optional water sports where readily available. Many visited the Dolphin Reel, meeting dolphins ln their natural habitat, face to face. Events included a Desert Feast at Maale Shacharut with a belly dancer and the Shacharut Ensemble playing a blend of mystical, eastern and western music. The farewell dinner was held in the hotel's ballroom, elegantly served with entertainment by a top class band and entertainers. The Group stayed in the Radisson Moriah Plaza Dead sea and the Eilat Princess Many of the participants extended their stay in Eilat for a few days, or took a tour to Petra, Amman and Jerusalem. "The organization before and during our visit was as one would expect from such skilled and professional groups (local organizer and DMC). The guides were all well likes by our customers, who found their commentary interesting and humorous. They are all obviously the best in the their business, our customers left feeling we had put them in the best hotel in town. The band at the Gala Evening - I have never Seen them dance so quickly and for so long. “Thanks to Eshet we got through the Israel/Jordan border in record time.

The group was divided into 4 groups ot 150 persons each, back to back over 16 nights. Each group arrived by a special charter flight from Brussels to Ben Gurion International Airport, where they were welcomed with flowers.

Upon arrival in Jerusalem, they took in the panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Haas promenade while enjoying kleyzmer music, an Israeli beer and a snack.

Their itinerary included Jerusalem, Massada and the Dead Sea, and the Galilee. Lunches were taken at a kibbutz, a picnic in the desert, and a boat cruise. Dinners were theme events - "Sabra Night" with Israeli folk dancing, "Bedouin Experience" in an authentic tent in the desert complete with camels and belly dancer, "Roman Feast" where each guest received a toga and laurel wreath - and a menu all in Latin!

After arriving at Ben Gurion International Airport via direct EL AL flight from Rome, the group started their four-sea tour of Israel - The Mediterranean, The Sea of Galilee, The Dead Sea and the Red Sea!

The tour included classical sightseeing, visiting Christian Holy sites, historical places and archaeological excavations throughout the country.

The tour was highlighted by spending a day at Bat Ya'ar near Safed in the Galilee, The programme consisted of a rodeo show, horse riding, jeep safari, archery and wood-chopping competitions, and a country and western style BBQ in the woods. In addition, the winners wined and dined while cruising the Sea of Galilee.

They still found time for a full day conference. Each participant received a room gift and Dead Sea cosmetic products, and later visited the factory. Other events included a jazz evening on the Red Sea, cocktails at the 2000 year old Siebenberg House in Jerusalem and fisherman's dinner at Jaffa Port.
